WOOFSTOCK 2010

A Festival for Dogs & People will be a groovy time for the family and Fido on Saturday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Balboa Park at the corner of Park Boulevard and Presidents Way.

THE FESTIVAL:

Live music, great food, and shopping for awesome pet products are just a few of the highlights of the day. There will also be many canine demonstrations such as Disc Dogs, Flyball, Canine Freestyle and working dogs in action.  Your dog will enjoy the K9 Playground! For those that want to get into the spirit of Woofstock dawn your 60's threads and compete in the Grooviest 60's Costume contest, psychedelic man! Win some amazing prises in the silent auction that takes place from 10 am to noon!

THE WALK:

The Peace, Love, and Walk 'n Roll fun dog walk benefits Canine Companions for Independence.  “The Walk” registration fee is $35 for adult, $15 for children and ,$60  for a family.  Walkers receive a cool WOOFSTOCK tie dye t-shirt, free Festival admission and a sWAG bag filled with great surprises! The walk takes place before the Festival beginning at 9am.
